Times-table numbers — find one that fits between two others.
How it works
- 1A multiple of 7 is any number in the 7 times table: 7, 14, 21, 28…
- 2Asked for one between 20 and 30? Count up in 7s until you land inside the range.
- 3Check your answer by dividing: a real multiple divides exactly, nothing left over.
Worked example
Multiple of 7 between 20 and 30
7, 14, 21, 28, 35…
28 fits: 20 < 28 < 30
Check: 28 = 7 × 4
