How it works

• 1A sequence is a list of numbers that follows a pattern: 2, 4, 6, 8 goes up in 2s.
• 2Find the pattern by looking at the jump between two neighbours.
• 3A term is a position in the list — 1st, 2nd, 3rd. In 5, 10, 15, 20 the 2nd term is 10.
• 4To find a later term, just keep the pattern going on paper.
