Full Mock Assessment Design

To mimic the official public format as closely as we can without claiming to reproduce the live SECTT paper, the full mock assessment in the app should:

• Select 45 numeracy questions and 25 technical comprehension questions.
• Use a 60-minute timer for the full 70-question paper.
• Hide explanations until after submission.
• Allow pen-and-paper working, but remind the learner not to use a calculator.
• Report a practice score and section breakdown, not pass/fail.
• Randomly select questions from larger pools so repeated attempts are not the

same paper every time.

Unofficial forum or social-media reports can be treated only as weak supporting signals. They should not override the official SECTT pages or the SECTT maths pack.
